Laughter

Laughter by Maningning Miclat, my analysis for me I think, there's a lovers who find happiness with each other. And they sharing each other memories. I think also that the the man in this poem not understand what's trying to tell the woman. And after that he left the girl because of many problems. I think that "laughter" signifies that even there's a lot of problems, to forgot it, you need to laugh. I also think that Maningning wrote that poem bacause of this struggles or trials in her life.

TANAGA

Two towers above the sky,
it's like a dream in my mind,
twin tower like a firefly,
that brights my life through my mind.

My reflection to the story of Servant Girl by Estrella D. Alfon, is was a nice story. because after I read this story I realize that anger does not control ourselves, but we need to control the anger by ourselves, because there's always a way to control it. And as a servant girl its hard for them to sacrifice all the things they want, because as I read this story she spend her time to wash clothes and the money she earned is she gave it to his mistress. And last girls have to find good guy for them.

Tadtarin is celebrated on three days at the feast of St John the Baptist and the preceding days. On the first night, a young girl heads the procession, for the second night, a mature woman and for the third night, a very old woman who dies and comes to life again.

John the baptist, he is a preacher who led a movement of Baptism at the Jordan River in expectation of a divine apocalypse that would restore occupied Israel. John followed the example of previous Hebrew prophets, living austerely, challenging sinful rulers, and promising God's justice.

What is literature?. I always remember our great artists and historians who used their ideas and their experiences to unite our nation and countrymen, it is a compilation of written works of their imagination or even their experiences to create a story. The picture is an artist of the Philippines, and that is Francis Magalona. and the picture says a being a "famous" not the person itself, because for me literature is an works of a person or people, ofcourse some of us is want to gain something to become famous so we look up to our great artists, because great written works id based to the experiences. Thefore, literature is also based to our feelings, because it can pass the idea to our mind. I idolized Francis Magalona, because of his songs that attract the hearts of the Filipino to unite us, and to become an inspirations to all of us, to serve as the peacemaker by using his music. Like his song "Mga kababayan". When you read the lyrics and the message of the song you will inspire as a Filipino to become conciuos to our country and to our fellow countrymen.
